LaBlast is a multi-level dance fitness program designed to keep people dancing! Each level incorporates an exciting new element designed to keep classes fresh and fun while challenging the participants to master new skills and techniques. Early levels of LaBlast offer an easy introduction into the program to help gradually build a solid foundation. As the levels progress, the intensity increases as dances and choreography are expanded and technique and details are refined. The more advanced levels focus on building stamina, improving technique, expanding fitness routines, and introducing more advanced choreography.
Level 1 & 2 Training: Provides an introduction to five dance styles, beginning with Cha Cha Cha, Salsa and Jive, and then Disco and Meringue. Light weights are integrated into the workout to increase intensity and provide a strength training component.
Level 3 Training: More dance movements are added to the five styles introduced in Levels 1 & 2, and new dance styles including the Lindy Hop, Samba and Paso Doble are introduced with increased weights and more advanced fitness routines.
Level 4 Training: The Quickstep is added with more enhanced and creative dance movements, and a heavier focus on cardio and muscle endurance.
Level 5 Training: Difficulty level increases in all dance styles with added speed and duration of all dance/fitness movements, and overall an intensive professional level athletic workout.
